General Blog Introduction

Hello! My name is Machiyah and welcome to my very first blog post!

The blog's objective is to serve as a planning and documentation tool as I develop the magazine that I'm making for my AICE Media Studies Course. Certain aspects that will be apart of journaling the process of my magazine will be the process of me gathering my information, organizing it, producing it, thoughts on significant events and also details on any adjustments or revisions that are done in the process. One of the skills that I have that will benefit my magazine includes writing. I'm actually very experienced with creative writing so that should make my blogging a little easier. I've never written a blog or made a magazine before, it's something new for me and I feel like I'll really enjoy doing it; especially with all the creativity that comes with it. I hope to learn further skills such as editing, research, analyzation, and organization. I'm looking forward to learning these new skills that will come along with creating my magazine because it'll stick with me and be useful for me in the future.

Main Tasks!

-My magazine will have to include a front page, contents, & a feature article (double-spread).

-When working as a team to brainstorm on ideas for the topic of the magazine, each group member is expected to create a distinctive version of the magazine using the same house style. The group should have no more than four individuals.

-I'll ask my peers for feedback so I can improve and create the greatest magazine I can.

-Look for material in different magazines to help me choose a topic/theme for my product.

-All of the images that I use in my magazine must be a minimum of four photos and all of the text and images that are utilized must be original/created by me.

-To improve my technology skills before moving on to the main work, preliminary tasks will be used.

-Make a reflection on the process and results of my media product and blog.
